"I like to see people have a good time. So, instead of me going to other people's events. I said, "They can pay me to come to my events." So I started Happy Roots Entertainment. Can I tell you what Happy Roots Entertainment is? Happy Roots Entertainment. Happy Roots, happy meaning people being happy when they come out and have fun. Roots, meaning we all come from the same creator. Made no different what color, we all have the same roots, we come from the same creator.  Entertainment, people just having fun enjoying themselves. All in a nutshell. Happy Roots Entertainment. I continue to do stuff like this today. We feed the we feed the elderly. Down at JJ Henderson Towers, we do that. We were doing that before the pandemic hit. We were doing that Christmas, Thanksgiving, we would cook the food ourselves, take the food down to J Henderson towers where the elderly stay."

“We have a partnership with Habitat for Humanity… we made a Christmas tree, made of bicycles, in downtown Durham, right across from the Durham Bulls stadium! … all the bikes was brand new, trail bikes… for a week or two, we displayed it, and then we take the tree down along with other bikes that have been donated, and we would give the bikes to the kids in the community…. we gave away 1,000 bikes away to kids. I like to see people happy.”
